Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field, plus 2 years’ commercial credit experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 6 years of combined higher education and work experience with 2 years in commercial credit.
• Strong analytical skills with financial modeling and analysis of credit metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new requests and material modifications from deal screen through approval and for the life of the loan.
• Monitor ongoing credit risk of existing portfolios via CCM activities.
• Review financial statements, tax returns, due diligence reports, credit bureaus, appraisals, and internal credit info.
• Prepare credit analyses with independent risk rating and mitigants.
• Make structure recommendations based on base and downside scenarios.
• Identify suspicious activity and ensure adherence to credit policy.
• Collaborate with relationship managers throughout the deal process and life of loan.
• Prepare cash flow, collateral schedules, covenant sensitivity calculations, financial models, and guarantor analysis.
• Attend client/prospect calls to understand business and recommend risk ratings.
• Present analysis and address questions during credit discussions or committees.
