Senior Commercial Credit Analyst - Floorplan

CountryPlace Mortgage, a leading nationwide personal property, mortgage and commercial lender headquartered in Plano, TX, is seeking a Senior Commercial Credit Analyst to help grow our Commercial Lending Department. This in-person role is in our Plano, TX office. The Senior Commercial Credit Analyst - Floorplan will complete financial analysis for floorplan lines, floorplan buyouts and other commercial lending, including real estate and revolving lines of credit.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Underwriting commercial loan requests for new and existing relationships by analyzing the financial condition utilizing financial statements, tax returns, CPA statements, bank statements, and other necessary documentation
  • Cash flow analysis and pro forma forecasting and scaling
  • Full understanding of entity legal ownership structure and providing clear, concise explanation of those structures
  • Ensure appropriate security instruments are recommended based on risk profile and ownership structure
  • Present recommendation, details and financial analysis to the appropriate authority level
  • Ownership of UCC process (filing, search and notification) to ensure properly perfected
  • Timely communication to key stakeholders (Dealer, Manufacturer, Sales and Management) through the process
  • Obtain answers to any questions regarding the financials, credit line requests, structure, and other relevant factors
  • Maintain a stakeholder focus throughout the underwriting process, meeting and exceeding service level commitments
  • Prepare legal documents and follow up to ensure necessary documentation is received
  • Final review of loan documentation and audit prior to loan funding
  • Periodic account reviews and maintenance
  • Mentor and coach junior analysts, offering guidance on credit evaluation, risk assessment, and industry best practices to support their growth and performance
  • Lead training initiatives to onboard new team members and continuously upskill less experienced analysts
  • Act as a proxy for the department supervisor when needed, including representing the team in meetings, making operational decisions, and ensuring workflow continuity
  • Promote a collaborative and supportive team culture by providing constructive feedback and fostering knowledge sharing
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on complex credit matters, assisting with escalated reviews and contributing to process improvements
  • Complete ad hoc projects as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree required in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • 5+ years of Commercial lending experience in credit, structuring and financial statement analysis required
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skill in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
