What You'll Do:
- Responsible for the preparation of quality, detailed financial analysis including cash flow models and collateral evaluations to identify potential credit risks.
- Evaluate complex financial statements to spread and analyze in order to prepare credit presentations.
- Mentor and assist in training less experienced commercial credit analysts.
- Make recommendations in accordance with sound banking practices to minimize risk exposure.
- Ensure commercial loan requests adhere to bank policies and procedures.
- Partner with the Commercial Lender, Portfolio Managers, or Team Leader to monitor the loan portfolio.
- Participate in on-site client meetings with the Commercial Lender, Portfolio Managers, or Team Leader.
- Review appraisals to ensure compliance with federal regulations and soundness of analysis.
- Conduct independent research and analyze market conditions to assess collateral values.
- Maintain the bank's commercial credit tickler system, tracking financial statements, covenants, and customer reporting.
- Assist in underwriting requests, review loan presentations, and take minutes for loan committees when applicable.
- Complete special projects as assigned by senior management.

Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably Accounting or Finance.
- At least 5 years of Commercial Credit Analyst experience focusing on C & I loans.
- Strong qualitative analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and internet proficiency.
- Experience with Sageworks Risk Analyst is preferred.
