Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to serve as the primary legal partner to leaders within a division, providing counsel on contracts and risk mitigation. You will draft and negotiate commercial agreements, protect corporate interests, and advise on strategy in domestic and international contexts.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and guide day-to-day business decisions.

Qualifications

• Law degree with a record of high academic achievement in the undergraduate level and in law school.
• License to practice law is required.
• Commercial/transactional experience preferred; healthcare law knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and pragmatic legal advice to contracting business clients across the enterprise.
• Draft and negotiate contracts and review terms with external parties.
• Identify legal risks and elevate appropriately to leadership.
• Collaborate with Litigation, Privacy, Regulatory Counsel, and Compliance teams.
