Job summary

ABC Supply Co. is seeking an experienced in-house attorney at its Beloit, Wisconsin location to lead drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial contracts. You will work with sales and procurement teams to ensure terms meet business objectives while mitigating risk.

The role requires a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, and admission to practice in a U.S. state.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of legal experience in law firm and/or corporate legal department.
• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in a U.S. state or territory.
• Excellent communication and drafting/negotiation of commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts (supply chain, service, sales, NDAs).
• Prepare and update contract templates and standard form agreements.
• Negotiate with customers, vendors and service providers to align terms with business standards while mitigating risk.
• Oversee contract review processes and streamline workflows; drive efficiency and tool adoption.
• Provide general legal advice and risk management to ABC Supply and its subsidiaries; mentor junior lawyers and contracts staff.
