Job summary

Higgsfield AI is seeking an Associate General Counsel, Commercial to lead the company's global commercial legal function and act as a strategic business partner across Sales, Partnerships, Product, Finance, Security, and Operations. You will guide complex enterprise transactions, advise executives on risk, and design scalable legal processes to support rapid growth.

This fully remote role, based in the United States, offers ownership, an equity program, and opportunities to shape go-to-market

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 10+ years of legal experience, with significant experience leading sophisticated commercial transactions for high-growth technology companies.
• Combination of top-tier law firm and in-house experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience serving as a strategic legal advisor to executive leadership and senior business stakeholders.
• Deep expertise negotiating complex enterprise SaaS agreements, API and developer platform agreements, technology licensing, strategic partnerships, and other sophisticated commercial transactions.
• Experience supporting AI, cloud infrastructure, APIs, developer platforms, or other highly technical software products is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic commercial transactions including enterprise SaaS, API agreements, licensing, and partnerships.
• Advise executive leadership on legal risk and commercially pragmatic solutions.
• Build scalable contracting processes, templates, and playbooks.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Finance, Security, and Operations to enable efficient decision-making.
• Mentor junior legal professionals and help grow the team's capabilities.
