Job summary

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Commercial Attorney (Technology Transactions) for our client, a financial services organization. This short-term contract will support the in‑house legal team and handle review, drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements with internal stakeholders. Requirements include a J.D.

and active U.S. bar, 3+ years of legal experience, and in‑house or tech‑transactions exposure.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active U.S. bar license.
• 3+ years of legal experience.
• In-house experience preferred.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience supporting technology, professional services, SaaS, or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, and vendor agreements.
• Support professional services, partnerships, and related transactions.
• Address data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI-related risks in contracts.
• Partner with sales, procurement, finance, and business teams to move deals forward.
• Support negotiations from initial review through execution.

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Commercial Attorney (Technology Transactions) for our client, a financial services organization. This short-term contract assignment will provide coverage for an in-house legal team and support the review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial agreements while partnering with internal business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate: Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
• Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Vendor Agreements
• Professional Services Agreements
• Partnership and Alliance Agreements
• Partner with sales, procurement, finance, and business teams to support commercial transactions.
• Identify and address contractual risks related to data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI-related matters.
• Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to help move deals forward.
• Support contract negotiations from initial review through execution.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active U.S. bar license.
• 3+ years of legal experience.
• Prior in-house experience strongly preferred.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience supporting technology, professional services, consulting, SaaS, or similar business environments preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and business partnering skills.
