Job summary

Bald Hill Builders, LLC. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic operations team in the Boston area.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of project management experience, proficiency with Procore, and a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. You will report to the Project Executive and collaborate with field personnel, subs, and clients to maintain a transparent and energetic culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related disciplines is required, or 5–10 years of related construction field experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including MS Project.
• Ability to read blueprints, and perform quantity take-offs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• OSHA 10 Certificate.
• Be able to manage multiple priorities with integrity and professionalism.
• Travel within a 100 mile radius of Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execution and close-out of construction projects.
• Create clear and attainable project objectives.
• Manage constraints of time, cost and quality.
• Maintain client relationships.
• Overall responsibility for day-to-day management and financial success of projects.
• Write Scopes of Work and Prepare Subcontract Agreements.
• Process submittals and RFIs.
• Administer Change Management.
• Assist with Estimating, Bidding and Buyout of projects.
• Develop and maintain construction project schedules using CPM techniques.
• Assist Superintendent(s) with safety procedures, signage, supplies and equipment.
• Code all documents for job site filing.
• Coordinate insurance and bonds with Insurance Coordinator.
• Communicate with Owner and coordinate meetings; prepare Meeting Minutes.
• Draft meeting agendas for all project meetings.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports.
• Develop punch lists and ensure timely completion.
• Obtain required permits and coordinate inspections.
• Ensure field personnel submit daily reports and photographs.
• Report problems to Project Executives and others as appropriate.
• Maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Assist in development and maintenance of project schedule.
• Ensure work complies with contract documents and client expectations.
• Ensure pre-construction meetings with subcontractors.
• Ensure quality workmanship.
• Provide labor forecasts with Superintendent(s) and Project Executive.
• Prepare material take-offs and order materials.
• Attend owner and subcontractor meetings.
