Job summary

The Ghoman Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial construction and renovation projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, maintain budgets and schedules, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety across all sites in the region.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction project management experience.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and project controls.
Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
OSHA knowledge and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of commercial construction and renovation projects from pre-construction through project closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
Review drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
Manage subcontractor performance and maintain strong working relationships with project partners.
Mentor and support junior project managers, project engineers, and field staff.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
