Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Commercial Claims Unit Manager with trucking experience to lead and develop a team of claims professionals. You will guide associates in resolving complex inquiries, monitor KPIs, and drive exceptional customer outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial auto/trucking claims supervision or 4+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Active Insurance Adjuster license; ability to obtain additional licenses as needed.
• Proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams focused on customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of commercial claims associates to deliver exceptional service.
• Guide team in resolving complex customer inquiries and claims with empathy and accuracy.
• Develop team members’ skills and ensure consistent achievement of customer outcomes.
• Monitor KPIs to improve efficiency, satisfaction, and retention across the team.
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations while delivering outstanding service.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to implement process improvements.

Education

Bachelor's or Associate's degree with 2+ years of commercial auto/trucking claims supervisory experience
