Senior Commercial Claims & Litigation Specialist

Position Overview

This role involves handling complex commercial liability and litigation claims, exercising independent judgment, and working remotely from IN, KY, or TN. The candidate will primarily manage TN Commercial General Liability litigation and support the West region as needed.

Benefits and Compensation

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and strategize claims handling.
• Engage defense counsel and manage litigation expenses.
• Respond to claims inquiries and provide training/mentoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 6 years’ claim handling or equivalent experience, or an associate degree + 8 years, or high school diploma + 10 years.
• Strong knowledge of tort/contract law and complex claims.
• Preferred: Litigation experience and professional designations such as AIC, CPCU, SCLA, CIC.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, ability to travel, obtain state licenses, and reside in specified states.

• Ability to drive, lift weights, and perform data entry tasks as needed.
