Job summary

OneGroup is seeking a Claims Consultant to serve as a client-facing technical advisor for complex commercial Property & Casualty claims, excluding Workers' Comp. You will lead claim strategy, advise on coverage, and partner with carriers, counsel and internal teams.

The role covers a broad range of P&C lines, requires strong analytical and communications skills, and offers opportunities to impact risk management and client outcomes across our Northeast footprint.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressively responsible commercial P&C claims experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial Property, General Liability, Auto Liability and related P&C coverage forms.
• Experience with Applied Epic or similar claims-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-severity, complex P&C claims and develop action plans and objectives.
• Review reserves, settlements, exposure, and carrier handling; ensure appropriate escalation.
• Analyze policy language, endorsements, exclusions, and coverage positions; advocate for carrier review.
• Coordinate with carriers, TPAs, counsel, and internal leadership while maintaining clear boundaries.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation and ensure privacy and E&O compliance.
