Morton Community Bank in Illinois seeks a Commercial Loan Officer to develop, maintain, and grow a commercial loan portfolio for business clients. You will interview and analyze loan requests, approve or deny loans, and provide deposit and cash management solutions alongside a wide range of lending products.

The role requires interpreting credit histories and financial statements, and cross-selling related banking services to meet loan origination goals.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university; or 5 to 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• BAI training annually.
• Overview course provided by MCB.

Responsabilidades

• Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process.
• Explain to customers the loan and credit products available, and the terms of those services.
• Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit histories, financial statements, and other information.
• Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Structure, underwriting and present loan requests in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
• Prepare and organize loan documents for closing and ensure accuracy.
