EOC Audio in Lisle, IL is seeking an experienced Commercial AV Programmer to design and commission Crestron, Q-SYS, and Shure systems. You will build and troubleshoot racks, read detailed drawings, and collaborate with project teams to deliver reliable AV solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on programming experience with Crestron, Q-SYS, Shure, and well-developed diagnostic skills. Travel to local or regional sites is expected; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on commercial AV programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Program and configure AV control systems (Crestron), DSP platforms (QSC Q- SYS), and audio networks (Shure, Dante).
• Perform on-site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting in commercial environments.
• Read and interpret system drawings, signal flow diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, system designers, and field technicians.
• Create and adjust user interfaces (touchpanels, scheduling panels, etc.).
• Ensure systems are deployed according to scope and perform reliably post-installation.
• Maintain clear documentation, update code repositories, and support system updates or revisions.
• Provide client training and support post-install as needed Travel to job sites locally or regionally, often during standard business hours (some flexibility required)
