Job summary

Cottingham & Butler is seeking an experienced Claims Supervisor in the Madison area to lead a team of Auto/Liability Adjusters and ensure high-quality service.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of auto liability adjusting and 1-5 years of management experience. Salary is Flexible based on experience; benefits start Day 1 and include a robust package with 401(k), PTO, disability, and parental leave.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial auto liability adjusting experience.
• 1-5 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Management – supervising a team of Auto/Liability Adjusters, coordinating their training and development, and ensuring they reach their full potential.
• Compliance – ensures claims handling adheres to applicable statutes, regulations and policies.
• Claims – investigating, taking statements, estimating damages, determining liability, denying claims, subrogation, litigation, etc.
