Mobilitas, created by CSAA Insurance Group, is seeking a Senior Commercial Actuarial Pricing Manager (Auto) to lead actuarial analysts and consultants. You will coach teams, guide pricing analyses, and ensure projects are delivered on time with high quality.

The role requires strong actuarial credentials (ACAS), deep commercial auto knowledge and client-facing collaboration with stakeholders across the business.

Qualificações

• BA/BS in statistics, math, actuarial science with 5+ years post-bachelor actuarial work in commercial insurance.
• Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related field.
• 3+ years in personal lines actuarial analysis and 3+ years in commercial insurance.
• ACAS certification required or pursuing in relevant field.
• Ability to coach, mentor, evaluate and train staff.
• 3+ years experience managing teams in supervisory roles.
• Experience performing account-level rating and pricing analyses for complex and high-value opportunities.
• Experience presenting analyses and pricing strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Commercial Auto and general Commercial insurance market.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee actuarial analyses, support business decisions and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Role Summary

As a Senior Commercial Actuarial Pricing Manager (Auto), you will lead and develop Actuarial Analysts and Consultants, providing coaching, training, and direction across a variety of pricing and analytical projects. You will oversee actuarial analyses, support business decision-making, and ensure projects are completed on time and with high quality.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for human resources functions to include recruiting and interviewing prospective employees, conducting performance appraisals, recommending salary actions including promotions and terminations, and administering disciplinary procedures in conjunction with management, recognizing employee’s achievements and counsels employees on performance issues, promotes growth and development of staff thorough coaching and mentoring, provides feedback and guidance to staff relative to productivity.
• Review work of Consultants and Analysts and oversees the successful completion of projects within the required time frame.
• Manage and train Actuarial Consultants and/or Analysts within the department.
• Manage Teams time and workload and recommends tradeoffs to leadership
• Demonstrate the ability to balance the achievement of business results with constrained human capital
• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area and 5 years of post bachelor experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on commercial insurance
• Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area
• 3 years experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines insurance
• 3+ years commercial insurance experience
• ACAS (Associate in Casualty Actuarial Society)
• Requires the ability to coach, mentor, evaluate and provide training, guidance and constructive feedback to professional staff
• 3+ years experience managing teams in a supervisory capacity
• Experience performing account-level rating and pricing analyses for complex or high-value commercial insurance opportunities.
• Experience serving as a client-facing partner, presenting analyses, recommendations, and pricing strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience performing account-level rating and pricing analyses for complex or high-value commercial insurance opportunities.
• In depth knowledge of the Commercial Auto industry and knowledge of the Commercial insurance marketplace in general.
• Ability to prioritize work, organizes time, and balances multiple projects
• supporting employee resource groups, mentoring employees, volunteering, joining cross-functional projects, encouraging team member involvement in these activities.
• willing to have cameras when it matters: interviewing candidates, building relationships with team members, etc.)
• Travels as needed for role, including enterprise meetings, divisional / team meetings, and other in-person meetings
• Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc
