Job summary

Realogy seeks a Commercial Title Examiner with 5+ years of title examination experience focused on Commercial and Acreage properties in Texas. The role performs thorough searches, reviews title documents, and prepares commitments, ensuring compliance with title standards.

You will mentor junior examiners, coordinate with Underwriters and Escrow teams, and apply strong research and analytical skills to complex property cases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Texas title examination experience.
• Fully versed in Commercial, Residential and Acreage examinations with Texas focus.
• Proficient with TIMS title plant software and Deed Plotter; familiarity with county sites.
• Strong research, legal term understanding and up-to-date with real property laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough public-record searches and examinations to assess title status.
• Review mortgages, deeds, probate records, trusts, and related documents affecting title.
• Read and interpret real estate documents, maps, surveys, and formal proceedings.
• Assemble Title Commitments to issue Final Title Policy.
• Communicate with Underwriters, Title Officers, Escrow Officers and teams.
• Mentor junior examiners on title issues and procedures.
