Job summary

Reworld Waste is looking for a Principal Combustion Engineer in New York. This role serves as the senior technical authority on Waste-to-Energy combustion performance and provides expert-level support to operating facilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in combustion systems and be able to analyze complex operating data. Key responsibilities include evaluating combustion strategies and enhancing throughput. The position also involves mentoring engineers and supporting environmental compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in combustion systems or industrial power generation.
• Experience supporting operating facilities in a senior technical capacity.
• Strong negotiation and technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical support on Waste-to-Energy combustion performance.
• Evaluate operating data to identify performance impacting issues.
• Act as a trusted conduit between plant operations and corporate engineering.
