Job description

We have an opportunity for a Senior Combisafe Product Sales Manager for the UK South region to join us at Combisafe. You will be responsible for engaging with end users and distributors, providing coordination between Customers, Sales, Operations, Engineers & Finance. Your role involves generating sales by offering solutions for various projects, providing technical and commercial advice, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. Success in this role is crucial for meeting and exceeding sales revenue goals. It serves as a vital interface between customers and Honeywell, significantly influencing customer perception and their willingness to buy and rent our products.

Role Details

This is a remote role with 70% travel within the south of the UK.

About Honeywell Industrial Automation

We enable our customers to run safer and more efficient operations across industries, from refineries to retail stores. Our solutions include connectivity, advanced data analytics, software, robotics, sensors, process automation, and asset performance management, helping to improve safety and sustainability.

Business Context

Honeywell plans to sell its PPE business to Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (PIP), with a potential closing in the first half of 2025. This role, focused on the PPE business, will be part of this transaction once finalized.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support Honeywell’s key accounts and regular customers, including price negotiations, product applications, quoting, and tender preparation.
  2. Upsell based on customer knowledge and technical competence; cross-sell PPE products.
  3. Manage orders, rentals, inventory, product returns, procurement of special parts, transportation issues, invoicing, and participate in site meetings.
  4. Provide technical support, engineering assistance, and supply customers with user instructions, technical sheets, drawings, and sales literature as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
  1. Minimum education in commercial or international business.
  2. Extensive experience in sales or customer service, preferably in construction.
  3. ERP knowledge, specifically SAP B1.
  4. Customer-oriented with problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
