Job summary

Oracle is seeking an engineer to provide global facility engineering expertise for its colocation data center portfolio. You will identify systemic risks, guide mitigations, and translate operational learning into standards and policies across multiple teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience operating data center critical infrastructure or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial/Process Engineering or related field with 6 years of experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple technology domains.
• Ability to respond quickly to incidents to maintain business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Review colocation data center design deviations and track mitigations.
• Analyze recurring infra failures and site events to identify risks.
• Assess reliability risks of aging infrastructure and utilities.
• Develop findings and recommendations to reduce risk.
• Lead facility audits with mechanical, electrical, and provider stakeholders.
