Job summary

Pfizer seeks a senior meta-model engineer to own and evolve the Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) meta-model, drive system integration and workflows, and guide governance standards for security and lineage. You will partner with Pfizer Global Supply to coordinate changes impacting the Unified Data Hub and related platforms, representing DAIP on PGS-facing projects and forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience; OR a master's with >0 years; OR an associate's with 6 years; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in data governance, metadata engineering, and/or data modeling.
• Strong workflow automation skills (BPMN; scripting such as Groovy/Java/Python) and Collibra REST API integration patterns.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate change across business and platform teams (impact/risk assessment, deployment plans, controls).
• Excellent stakeholder management; comfortable representing platform positions with PGS product, architecture, and governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Manage time effectively to meet targets and develop plans for short-term work activities on moderately complex projects.
• Operate under general supervision, following established procedures and instructions, and solve loosely defined problems.
• Use personal judgment to modify methods and techniques as needed.
• Collaborate with Information Technology partners to set up development, test, and production environments.
• Conduct risk analysis and impact assessments for solutions that integrate with other Pfizer systems.
• Design and implement application software configurations and systems design for commercial off-the-shelf software products.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team to achieve project goals.
