Job summary

Ibexlabs is seeking a senior Collibra Developer / Data Governance Engineer in San Francisco to lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise data governance solutions on the Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud platform. This hands-on leadership role requires deep Collibra expertise, governance modeling, and mentoring across teams.

The role owns the technical direction for data governance—improving data quality, discoverability, ownership, and compliance at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Data Management with Collibra ownership.
• Deep hands-on Collibra experience including catalogs, glossaries, workflows, and governance.
• Experience integrating Collibra with enterprise data platforms via REST APIs and web services.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and maintenance of Collibra components (Catalog, Lineage, Quality, Privacy).
• Architect Collibra operating models and governance workflows aligned to enterprise strategy.
• Define and drive data governance strategy, standards, and adoption roadmaps.
