Job summary

HelloCollege is seeking a mid-level College Counselor to guide a caseload of students through college planning, leveraging virtual counseling, workshops, and e-learning resources. You will ensure program completion, drive referrals, and maintain strong client relationships with families and schools.

The role reports to the Director of Counseling and requires expertise in selective colleges, excellent communication, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or College Counseling certification required.
• Experience with highly selective college counseling and admissions is required.
• Strong knowledge of selective and ivy-level US colleges and universities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to connect with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with CRM and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Guide a caseload of up to 150 students through HelloCollege program.
• Lead bi-monthly formal counseling sessions and document notes in CRM.
• Conduct online workshops up to four times per month.
• Maintain regular communication with students and families.
• Oversee partnerships with schools and organizations.
• Promote company growth and foster a positive culture.
