For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Collections Analyst, remotely from the United States.

In this key role, you will manage accounts receivable processes and ensure the timely recovery of outstanding balances. Your responsibilities will include business-to-business collections, identifying and addressing root causes of payment delays, conducting account reconciliations, and managing vendor payment portals like Ariba and Coupa. With your expertise, you will improve the efficiency of the collections operations, help maintain healthy financials, and nurture strong client relationships.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage business-to-business collections, including inbound and outbound correspondence and phone calls to recover outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify payment delays and implement strategies to resolve underlying issues.
  • Conduct account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and ensure billing accuracy.
  • Support the billing and collections team with additional duties and contribute to achieving departmental goals.
  • Leverage accounting software systems, such as Workday and Airtable AR/Collections, to track and manage accounts receivable.
  • Manage a designated A/R portfolio, actively follow up on collections, and meet assigned AR aging and recovery metrics.
  • Implement and adhere to efficient collection strategies to maximize cash flow and minimize bad debt.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections, preferably within the IT or software industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software systems such as Salesforce (CRM), Workday (ERP), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of billing functions and collection processes, with a focus on commercial collections.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage professionally with clients and internal teams.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Strong team player, capable of collaborating effectively while managing individual responsibilities.
