Job summary

REI Systems seeks a senior CFML engineer to maintain, enhance, and document ColdFusion-based web applications. You will work on client/server projects, integrate with Oracle/SQL Server, and Administer ColdFusion servers with IIS/Apache. The role emphasizes SDLC discipline and documentation.

You will design components, optimize performance, and participate in architectural decisions, including web services and multi-tier patterns. Hybrid work in Sterling, VA with federal project exposure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building multi-tier web apps with CFML, HTML, JS, Oracle/SQL Server.
• Experience with CF components, standards, OO/MVC patterns.
• SDLC experience for application development.
• Strong experience in multi-tier design patterns & analysis.
• Web parts, workflows, content types.
• Web services integration with external systems.
• Custom components development in CFML.
• jQuery/AJAX frameworks in JS.
• Oracle 12c/Exadata and MS SQL Server databases.
• CFML-driven intranet/extranet sites.
• Git and SVN for source control.
• AWS cloud migration for ColdFusion-based apps.

Responsibilities

• Build interactive web applications and client/server projects using CFML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Oracle, SQL Server, J2EE.
• Design and develop Custom Components.
• Administer ColdFusion Server and middleware web server integration (IIS, Apache).
• Monitor performance and perform log analysis and tuning.
• Develop functional and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for changes.
