Job summary

Retym, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Algorithm Engineer in Austin, Texas, to develop and automate system-level tests for advanced coherent optical DSP. You will work on ensuring the performance and robustness of cutting-edge DSP systems.

This role requires an MSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field and over 10 years of experience in DSP design and modelling. You'll be collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, influencing architectural decisions and driving various testing methodologies.

Qualifications

MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in DSP design and modelling, preferably for communications or optical systems.
Strong proficiency in MATLAB / C++, with hands-on experience building modular simulation frameworks.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain system-level test frameworks for coherent DSP algorithms.
Develop automated end-to-end test environments including channel models and performance analytics.
Analyze test results and drive corrective actions based on performance degradation.
