Job summary

My3Tech is seeking a Cognos Developer (Remote, Contract) to develop and enhance Cognos frameworks, and to create reports, dashboards and scorecards for internal BI teams and external customers.

You will collaborate with the Data Warehouse Architect and IT teams, discuss solutions with technical and business stakeholders, mentor junior staff, and maintain documentation across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience with BI focus.
• 10+ years analytics experience with Cognos/related tools.
• Strong communication across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Discuss solutions with technical and business communities.
• Create ad hoc Cognos reports for BI team and external customers.
• Collaborate with Data Warehouse Architect on data models and schemas.
• Communicate information needs to management at all levels.
• Coordinate with IT teams on data repositories and Cognos frameworks.
• Contribute to an information library for analysts/users.
• Develop and maintain documentation for reports/dashboards/scorecards.
• Mentor and train junior resources.
