Job summary

Dorado is building a large set of evaluation tasks for construction and property assessment. You review permit drawing sets for code compliance, markup plans, and contribute templates.

The role targets ICC-certified plan reviewers with 3+ years in US jurisdictions, offering hourly pay and potential rate growth as projects scale. Candidates should be able to mark up and measure plans, train junior reviewers, and work with AHJ or private plan review teams across multiple code editions.

Qualifications

• ICC Building Plans Examiner certification (B1, B2 or B3) or equivalent plan-review experience.
• No degree requirement; 3+ years in plan review in US jurisdictions (IBC/IEBC/IECC/ICC A117.1).
• US-based, familiarity with multiple code editions and jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Review permit drawing sets for code compliance.
• Markup and measure plan sets to verify accuracy.
• Contribute to templates and comment libraries; QA of others' work.
• Collaborate with AHJ or third-party plan reviewers.
