Job summary

You will collaborate with Code Officers, Fire Prevention Officers, Police Detectives, and City Attorneys to address egregious violations, and will mentor others while staying current on regulations and certifications.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience enforcing codes in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of municipal, state, and federal regulations.
• Ability to issue citations and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating with police, attorneys, and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations on complex code compliance challenges.
• Directly handle inspections, case management, and enforcement actions.
• Present testimony in municipal and district courts as needed.
• Mentor junior officers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain certification and stay current with code changes.
