Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Coatings Inspector III to lead coating specification reviews, inspection and test plans, and quality requirements across projects. You will investigate coating failures, coordinate sampling and lab work, audit applicators and suppliers, and supervise junior inspectors.

CIP Level 3 and 8+ years of experience are required, with PCS preferred and broad industrial exposure.

Qualifications

• AMPP (NACE) CIP Level 3 certification required.
• 8+ years of coatings inspection experience including supervision.
• AMPP Protective Coatings Specialist (PCS) preferred.
• Broad experience across industrial, water/wastewater, marine, and infrastructure coatings.

Responsibilities

• Review and write coating specifications, inspection and test plans, and quality requirements.
• Investigate coating failures: field evaluation, sampling, and laboratory coordination.
• Audit applicators and coating suppliers; qualify inspection subcontractors.
• Supervise and develop Level 1 and 2 inspectors; calibrate acceptance standards.
