Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a senior Coatings Inspector III who will serve as the senior authority on protective coatings across projects, reviewing and writing coating specifications and inspection plans, investigating failures, auditing applicators and suppliers, and guiding owners and engineers on system selection and quality.

This role requires AMPP CIP Level 3, current with 8+ years in coatings inspection, including supervision; PCS preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of coatings inspection experience including supervision.
• Experience with failure investigations.
• Certification AMPP CIP Level 3 must be current.
• PCS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and write coating specifications and inspection plans.
• Investigate coating failures across projects.
• Audit applicators and coating suppliers.
• Supervise Level 1 and 2 inspectors.
• Advise owners/engineers on coating systems and maintenance.
