Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Coatings Inspector III to lead coating project quality across industrial and municipal sites. Qualifications

• AMPP (NACE) CIP Level 3 certification current and in hand.
• 8+ years of coatings inspection experience, including supervision of others.
• PCS certification preferred but not required; broad coating experience across industries.

Responsibilities

• Review and write coating specifications, inspection and test plans, and quality requirements.
• Investigate coating failures through field evaluation, sampling, and laboratory coordination.
• Audit applicators and coating suppliers; qualify inspection subcontractors.
• Supervise Level 1 and 2 inspectors and calibrate acceptance standards.
• Advise owners and engineers on coating systems, service life, and maintenance planning.

Education

AMPP (NACE) CIP Level 3 certification

8+ years coatings inspection experience including supervision

AMPP Protective Coatings Specialist (PCS) preferred
