Job summary

Great Ecology, part of True Environmental and its partner firms, seeks a Senior Litigation Specialist focused on Coastal Restoration to provide senior-level litigation expertise for coastal restoration projects and support expert witness testimony in federal and state proceedings.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, review technical deliverables, mentor junior staff, and help drive business development while communicating findings to legal, regulatory, and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Hydrology, Geology, Coastal Science, Environmental Science, Ecology or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting and A/E/C with focus on coastal restoration.
• Demonstrated experience in litigation support on environmental cases.
• A high level of professionalism, integrity, ethics, and commitment to environmental sustainability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level expertise for coastal restoration projects across True Environmental.
• Support expert witness testimony in federal and state proceedings.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to integrate coastal restoration work.
• Review and approve technical deliverables and regulatory submissions.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a high-performing culture.
• Drive business development through large pursuits and partnerships.
• Present findings clearly to legal, regulatory, and non-technical audiences.
• Lead proposal development and client presentations.
• Collaborate with internal experts to achieve project goals.
• All other duties as required.
