Job summary

Natural England seeks a Senior Officer to lead strategic work on planning and major infrastructure in the coastal environment. The role influences infrastructure policy, guidance and practice to secure better outcomes for nature while supporting sustainable development.

You will work with Defra, DESNZ, MHCLG and other departments, providing national leadership and technical advice, and helping shape NE's response to evolving policy environments and national consultations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading planning and infrastructure policy.
• Ability to translate government priorities into guidance and policy.
• Strong collaboration with regulators, agencies, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
