Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks a Medical Science Liaison (Sr Manager) in CNS to advance an ecosystem-based engagement model.

You will engage with Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders, and healthcare providers to shape regional medical strategies and deliver evidence-based insights to improve patient care. In collaboration with ecosystem partners, you will provide training, contribute to evidence generation, participate in clinical trials, and mentor staff within a matrix

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or Master's with equivalent CNS experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Understanding of health systems and delivery of patient care with healthcare professionals.
• Strong business acumen; aware of industry dynamics and value proposition.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to lead teams and strategic projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of time.
• Preferred living location in a key territory city.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and data-focused information to support stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain ecosystem-aligned medical strategies and education.
• Lead or participate in internal and external training, including speaker bureau activities.
• Collect and submit medical insights to drive evidence generation.
• Collaborate across matrix teams and regional leadership for medical strategies.
• Support clinical trials, health economics outcomes research, and ISTs.
• Mentor new hires and share best practices.
• Support Safety & Pharmacovigilance and medical education initiatives.
