Job summary

Nightwing CODEX is seeking a Senior CNO Software Developer to design and implement custom software tools and techniques. Most work is in Python, C++ and Java for Windows and Linux platforms, in an environment that blends low- and high-level user space.

You will lead end-to-end development, write documentation, and mentor junior developers while collaborating with customers to define requirements, status, and timelines.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience programming in C/C++ or similar and Python.
• In-depth understanding of network protocols and OS internals.
• Experience with binary analysis tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra) a plus.
• Knowledge of CNO techniques and software security concepts.
• Ability to gather requirements and design solutions with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain CNO capabilities across Unix/Windows/Mobile.
• Mentor and lead junior developers; conduct code reviews.
• Interface with customers to communicate status and requirements.
• Prepare documentation for operating and supporting software.
