Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Swiss-style CNC machines to manufacture precision components.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and setup sheets to ensure accuracy.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets for each job.
• Perform first-article inspections and adjust as needed to meet specs.
• Monitor operations and make real-time adjustments for quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot setup and machining issues independently.
• Document setup procedures and best practices for repeatability.
• Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and quality personnel to optimize strategies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment per 5S standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report issues.
• Mentor junior machinists and operators.
