Job summary

Chart Industries in Stafford, TX designs and builds cryogenic equipment. We seek an experienced CNC programmer to develop, validate, and optimize programs for turbomachinery components, ensuring manufacturability and quality.

You will collaborate with design engineers, simulate toolpaths, and perform setup, debugging, and inspection activities to support production. The role requires 7+ years of CNC programming and 10+ years in multi-axis/mill-turn environments, with strong ESPRIT/Hypermill

Qualifications

7+ years CNC programming experience.
10+ years in multi-axis mill-turn machinery.
5-axis multi-blade mill-turn machinery experience preferred with ESPRIT/Hypermill.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and validate CNC machining programs for turbomachinery components.
Simulate toolpaths to detect and prevent errors before production.
Ensure CAD programming aligns with manufacturability and process efficiency.
Recommend cutting tool purchases and catalog accordingly.
Check prints with design engineering for accuracy and correct information on prints.
Perform machine setup, initial runs, troubleshooting, and post-machining inspections.
