MOHR Talent in Perkasie, PA is seeking a hands-on CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer to join a precision machining operation that builds high-performance fluid handling equipment. You will lead CNC programming, process development, and shop floor problem solving, influencing how parts are made rather than just documenting steps.

The role requires 5+ years in a manufacturing engineering capacity, strong Mazak/Mazatrol and Haas experience, and the ability to write and optimize CNC programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a precision machining environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Mazak/Mazatrol and Haas CNC equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to write, modify, and optimize CNC programs.
• Comfortable with manual machining equipment.
• CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs (Mazak/Mazatrol and Haas environments).
• Support setup, prove out, and first article runs for new and existing parts.
• Troubleshoot machining issues including surface finish, tolerances, tool wear, and chatter.
• Diagnose CNC machine center issues and partner with maintenance on corrective action.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, process mapping).
• Support new product introduction and manufacturability of precision machined parts
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; support root cause and CAPA activities.
