You will program and optimize complex parts using CAD/CAM tools to ensure precision across turret presses, lasers, and machining centers. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, programming and testing CNC operations, and collaborating with engineering and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CNC programming for milling/turning operations.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and 5-axis is desirable.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and specs.
• Bachelor's in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience/certifications.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs from engineering drawings and specs.
• Create toolpaths for turret presses, laser machines, and machining centers.
• Optimize programs for efficiency, accuracy, and surface finish.
• Conduct simulations and test runs to verify accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and minimize downtime.
• Maintain documentation such as setup sheets and tooling lists.
• Mentor junior programmers and machinists on techniques and safety.
• Stay informed on CNC industry trends and best practices.
