Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CNC programming role in the engineering industry.
2 or 4 year Tech Degree required (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency in programming with Mastercam software.
Demonstrated experience with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Extensive knowledge of tool and die, including the ability to create and modify fixtures and tooling.
Experience with CMM equipment for part inspection and validation.
Strong understanding of CNC machine setup and operation.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Develop and write precise CNC programs using Mastercam for manufacturing various parts and components.
Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring they run efficiently and produce high-quality parts.
Use precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers to inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
Apply knowledge of tool and die to create and modify fixtures and tooling.
Use CMM equipment for part inspection and validation, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and programs.
Collaborate with the engineering team to improve production processes and implement cost‑saving strategies.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
