Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in California is seeking a CNC Lead / Programmer to join a busy manufacturing cell. You will program, set up, and troubleshoot CNC equipment across lathe and mill operations, supporting about 12 machines and related secondary processes.

You will work with Fanuc and OSP controls, develop and optimize CNC programs, interpret blueprints, and train operators while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC machining background with programming and setup experience.
• Experience with CNC lathe and mill operations.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand machining specifications.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment within the manufacturing cell.
• Support ~12 CNC machines and associated secondary operations.
• Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs to meet production and quality requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to CNC operators and production personnel.
