Job summary

Cascade Engineering Technologies in Canby, Oregon is seeking a Senior CNC Programmer to drive the production of precision aerospace components. You will program complex parts, develop toolpaths, and optimize machining processes for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines using Mastercam.

You will review drawings and GD&T, support setups and first article inspections, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with machinists and engineers to improve quality, cycle times, and efficiency in a tight-knit team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC programming using Mastercam.
• 3+ years of machining experience.
• Experience programming 3, 4, and/or 5-axis CNC machines.
• Strong reading of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs using Mastercam.
• Create and optimize toolpaths, cutting strategies, and machining processes.
• Review engineering drawings, models, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Support setup, prove-out, and first article activities for new and existing parts.
• Troubleshoot programming, tooling, setup, and machining issues.
• Work with machinists, engineers, and production leaders to improve quality, cycle times, and efficiency.
• Document programming methods, setup notes, tooling requirements, and process improvements.
• Support continuous improvement efforts across machining operations.
• Follow all safety requirements and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.

• 3+ years of CNC programming using Mastercam.
• 3+ years of machining experience.
• Experience programming 3, 4, and/or 5-axis CNC machines.
• Proficiency Mastercam programming complex parts on 4axis, 3+2, and 5axis processes.
• Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, tooling, and setting speeds and feeds.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, models, specifications, and GD&T.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Experience with verification software such as Vericut preferred.
• Experience machining aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and/or Inconel preferred.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
