Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join its aerospace-focused engineering team. This permanent, full-time role requires developing and implementing programming and setup instructions for CNC machines to produce high-precision aerospace components.

ITAR knowledge and strong attention to detail are essential. You will own programs from blueprint to run book, collaborating with Quality and Engineering to ensure repeatable processes and auditable output, with full benefits from day

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in CNC programming in engineering/defense manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Experience maintaining run books, setup instructions, and program revisions.
• Knowledge of ITAR/aerospace environments is required.
• Strong CNC machine setup, operation, and maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain run books and CNC setup instructions.
• Create, verify, and revise CNC programs for repeatable, auditable output.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to optimize machining processes.
• Conduct regular tests and inspections of CNC machines.
• Troubleshoot CNC machines and resolve issues.
• Stay current with CNC programming technologies and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR and aerospace regulations.
• Train junior programmers and operators.
