Job summary

Arena Family of Companies in Anaheim, CA, is seeking an experienced CNC machinist to program, setup, and run advanced multitasking, 5-axis, Swiss, and mill-turn machining. You will develop CNC programs using Esprit CAM and work with Fanuc/Siemens controls on tight tolerance parts for aerospace and other high-precision applications.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in CNC machining, strong GD&T interpretation, and aerospace/manufacturing experience, with opportunities to optimize tooling and cycle

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, prove out, and troubleshoot advanced CNC multitasking, mill-turn, Swiss, and 5-axis machining operations.
• Develop and edit CNC programs using Esprit CAM while working with Fanuc and Siemens controls.
• Review blueprints, GD&T, travelers, and production documentation to develop complete machining processes.
• Select tooling, workholding, cutting parameters, and offsets while maintaining extremely tight dimensional requirements.
• Inspect, optimize, and troubleshoot production processes while improving tooling, cycle times, machine performance, and production handoff.

What You'll Do:

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of CNC machining, setup, and programming experience with strong multitasking, mill-turn, 5-axis, or Swiss machining experience.
• Experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens controls and Esprit CAM or similar advanced CAM software.
• Strong blueprint and GD&T interpretation skills with experience holding extremely tight tolerances, ideally down to ±0.0001".
• Ability to independently take a job from blueprint through programming, setup, prove-out, inspection, troubleshooting, and production handoff.
• Aerospace or other high-precision manufacturing experience, with DMG Mori NTX, DN Solutions, Tsugami Swiss, High QA, or complex aerospace machining experience considered a strong plus.
