Karman Space & Defense is seeking a CNC Programmer on first shift in Huntington Beach, CA. The role focuses on developing machining processes for complex aerospace components using Mastercam and multi-axis Haas CNC equipment.

You will troubleshoot on the shop floor and collaborate across engineering, quality, and operations to ensure quality and schedule adherence. The position requires strong GD&T and CMM interpretation skills, plus five or more years of Mastercam experience.

Qualifikationen

• Five or more years of Mastercam programming experience
• Strong GD&T understanding
• Ability to read CMM reports and inspect dimensional data
• Shop floor diagnostic capability
• U.S. DoD clearance or ability to obtain one

Aufgaben

• Develops and programs machining processes for complex components using Mastercam.
• Designs machining strategies and fixtures for three-, four-, and five-axis CNC machines.
• Leads projects from concept through production release and ongoing support.
• Troubleshoots machining, tooling, and quality issues on the shop floor.
• Collaborates with Quality to interpret CMM reports, dimensional data, and inspection results.
• Mentors machinists, operators, and other programmers.
• Supports continuous improvement of CAM workflows.
