This role entails creating and improving CNC programs, integrating new machinery, and supporting daily operations through troubleshooting and process development. Ideal applicants should have a minimum of 3 years in CNC machining, alongside strong technical skills with Mastercam and SolidWorks. Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years of manual machining experience.
3+ years of CNC machining and programming experience.
EDM expertise (a highly valued plus).
5-axis CNC machining expertise (a plus).
Responsibilities
Create CNC programs for mills and lathes for new parts.
Incorporate new machinery and equipment into the production process.
Perform hands-on setup and resolve issues with manufacturing and automation equipment.
Create fixtures for CNC machining and CMM inspection.
Recommend and implement enhancements to manufacturing methods, equipment, and operating procedures.
Support ongoing improvement projects.
Skills
CNC programming experience, ideally with Mastercam
Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
Proficiency in reading and understanding drawings and schematics
Familiarity with controls, industrial robotics, conveyor systems, and PLC programming
