The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi‑axis machines
• Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs
• Machine tight‑tolerance parts (±.005" or better)
• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T
• Select tooling, fixturing, and machining strategies
• Perform first‑article and in‑process inspection
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues
• Improve processes, documentation, and repeatability
• Mentor less experienced machinists and support the shop floor

Machines, Controls & Software

You’ll work with equipment such as:

• Machines: CNC Mills, Lathes, Multi‑Axis Machines (3, 4, 5‑Axis)
• Controls: Fanuc / similar industry‑standard controls
• CAM Software: MasterCAM or Fusion360 (any CAM experience valuable)
• Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, gauges, first‑article inspection tools

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 8+ years CNC machining experience
• Strong CNC programming experience (writing, modifying, optimizing)

• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Ability to independently troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on, production‑driven role

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5‑axis machining
• Experience with tooling and fixturing design
• Background in aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing
• Experience in regulated environments (AS9100, ISO, ITAR, NADCAP)
