The Work You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi‑axis machines
- Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs
- Machine tight‑tolerance parts (±.005" or better)
- Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T
- Select tooling, fixturing, and machining strategies
- Perform first‑article and in‑process inspection
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues
- Improve processes, documentation, and repeatability
- Mentor less experienced machinists and support the shop floor

Machines, Controls & Software
You’ll work with equipment such as:
- Machines: CNC Mills, Lathes, Multi‑Axis Machines (3, 4, 5‑Axis)
- Controls: Fanuc / similar industry‑standard controls
- CAM Software: MasterCAM or Fusion360 (any CAM experience valuable)
- Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, gauges, first‑article inspection tools

What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 8+ years CNC machining experience
- Strong CNC programming experience (writing, modifying, optimizing)
- Experience with complex setups and multi‑axis machining
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Ability to independently troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on, production‑driven role
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5‑axis machining
- Experience with tooling and fixturing design
- Background in aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing
- Experience in regulated environments (AS9100, ISO, ITAR, NADCAP)
