Volk Optical Inc. in Mentor, OH, is seeking a skilled machinist with strong CNC experience to join our precision manufacturing team. You will program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes, verify tolerances with precision tools, and ensure parts meet strict medical device quality standards.

High school diploma or equivalent.
7-10 years of machinist experience using conventional machine and hand tools.
3-5 years CNC set-up, programming, and operating experience.

Responsabilidades

Programs, sets up, and operates CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery per blueprint specifications.
Tests accuracy of settings and programs.
Follows all safe work practices & safety rules.
Fabricates metallic and nonmetallic parts, and fits and assembles machined parts into complete units.
Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Set up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed data.
Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly using micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks.
May train machinists in department.
