Tecomet, Inc. seeks a CNC Machinist III to operate, set up and potentially program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes per engineering drawings. You read blueprints, troubleshoot CNC programs, and help improve instructions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, 5S housekeeping, GMP/GDP practices, and collaboration with Engineering to optimize fixtures and tooling and to meet productivity targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English is desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes per drawings.
• Propose new production setups and change offsets/tooling in machines as part of new setup.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work with close tolerances on various parts and metals.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes; improve work instructions.
• Assist Engineering with fixture redesigns and tooling wear adjustments.
• Ensure product quality by OOQ standards using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping and follow GMP/GDP; complete job routers/cards.
• Identify and elevate manufacturing issues; participate in resolutions.
• Train new or junior machinists.
